FINOX Financial Services — Custom WordPress Theme
A custom WordPress theme for a multi-service financial brand — including navigating a mid-project compliance hold before relaunch.
The Problem
Finox needed a site that could carry a "trusted financial partner" tone across a genuinely wide service range — personal and business loans, mutual funds, banking products, bill payments, and travel booking — while staying manageable through WordPress rather than a fully custom backend the Finox team couldn't touch themselves.
The Solution
We built Finox a custom WordPress theme, purpose-designed around their actual service structure rather than a generic finance template, in February 2025. Partway through, the site had to be taken offline — not because of anything on the technical side, but because Finox hadn't yet secured the banking-partner permissions required for parts of their offering to legally go live. We held the build ready and relaunched the site once those permissions came through, rehosting it around October 2025.
Why It Matters
Financial services websites don't exist in a vacuum — regulatory approval can move on its own timeline, independent of how ready the website is. Being able to pause, hold the work in a launch-ready state, and bring it back online cleanly once the compliance side caught up is as much a part of delivering this project as the theme itself.
